I photographed this succulent while it was in flower in my greenhouse. It is called a mimicry plant (Mesembryanthemum), because the leaves look like something other than a plant. In this case, they look like the jaws of a tiger which is why it is called "tiger jaws". Since Faucaria is native to the southern hemisphere (South Africa), it flowers in our fall usually sometime in September. Questions or comments welcome via Email  to: rkroll.@aol.com
